The First Kiberd Gathering - Athlone 24 October 2015

The inaugural gathering of the wider Kiberd family was held on Saturday evening on the 24th of October in 2015. The event was the idea and creation of Carmel O'Neill. Carmel put together a wonderful evening that was enjoyed by everyone that was present in the Parnell Room in the Prince of Wales Hotel in the heart of Athlone. There was an almost full attendance of first cousins with just a couple of unavoidable absences. Next time we hope to have even greater attendance including the next generation of cousins.
